“Have I Told You Lately That I Love You??”

Mother's Day is coming!!! Start planning now, what are you going to do special for your Mother this year to express your love and appreciation for all she's done in your life? I'm very blessed with two mothers (no medical phenomena here I promise!!) I my Mom who conceived me and my step-mom that was very involved with raising me (again Rachel, I hope you have recovered from this! hehe) Mother's day is so important Read more

“Mothers Day Card”

I committed this year to designing a Mother's Day card that I could offer a class on and here it is! The pictures won't do it proper justice but I hope they give a decent view of the beauty in this one!   The background stamp (Baroque Motifs from StampinUp) on the card base is done is Whisper white ink and traced with a glitter to give it some sparkle (love sparkle!!). The brown mounting Read more

My Cards & Craft Creations!

I love love love to make things for other people and I love to see them smile as a result of receiving one of my cards or crafts!! To know that you have the ability to bless someone else, if only for a brief moment, is a very humbling opportunity in my opinion. For those who craft, in whatever form it is, have a passion inside them to shower others with love and praise. It’s Read more

“Blessed Wasabi”

Two in a row?? is it possible?? Am I spoiling you?? Nah, the graduation card is really not one a typical person would take from, after visiting another's blog. That was more of a "brag" card for me so I really owe you a new one today, so here goes!!  This was just a nice little card to make. I sat down and just put together papers, stamps, sampled some things and at the end Read more

“Don’t Get Mad, Get Glad!!”

I'm horrible for remembering which company went with which advertisement these days! Was it hefty or husky or glad?? I'd not be one chosen for marketing that's for sure!! Do you remember the advertisement for a popular trash bag company? (ok, so I just remember this only because I was thinking ahead to right....duh!!!) GLAD!!!! "Don't get mad, get glad!!!" I know they probably never dreamed of their brand getting up on a womens blog Read more

Vali’s Graduation Card!!

Ok, this is just a sneak peek....you don't get to see the inside until you get yours in the mail so no asking!!!  :-) The one with the picture is the front (of course I wouldn't put her on the back!!) the other, by process of elimination is the back...:-)  My niece Vali (Her real name is "Valentina") is graduating this year and you wouldn't find a more excited, proud family then ours!!! She has Read more

Purple Tulip Cards

Good morning everyone! I wanted to share this set of cards with you as the cards are very pretty and make great note cards (Excellent RAK cards!!), but I really love the phrase on the stamp. It reads:  "The time to be happy is now. The place to be happy is here." Isn't that a wonderful phrase to share with people? I really love this as it is simple yet speaks how many of us Read more

Monday’s Sparkle: “Random Acts of kindness”

Good morning everyone!  It's sparkle time! Have you ever had one of those days that you woke up in a most excellent mood and knew you wanted to carry this feeling throughout your entire day? We'll I'm in one at it's only 6:00AM!! The challenge is, can I keep it going and also pass it along to others? One thing I've learned in crafting is that it's an acronym rich environment but in the same Read more

Brown Boat Cards

This set of four cards are made from my favorite stamping products!!  The stamp is a boat that is lightly chalked and mounted on a darker brown paper which sets on top of the base of the card. The corner mounts with brads really make a statement on the cards don't you think? The inside of theses can be stamped with pretty much any sentiment you can think of. These are considered masculine cards but Read more

Card Purse with cards

Good morning craft lovers! Ok, so I made this little purse and set of four cards and sent them down (via man carrier) to my very good friend Lynn in Coral Springs last week (love you Lynn!). What's amazing about the purse technique is it's made entirely out of paper! Isn't that so amazing?? So here's the skinny on it:   The papers are all from a company I signed on with called StampinUp. The Read more
